About me

Antoine Philippot is a french baritone. He graduated from the National theatre of Strasbourg (Group37) then he obtained his diploma from the conservatory of Bobigny in 2015. He studied with greats professors, opera singers or pianists such as: Malcolm Walker, Emmanuel Olivier, Mireille Delunsch, Chantal Santon, Cécile de Boever…

As a singer he begun with Les Brigands in Offenbach (La grande Duchesse de Gerolstein), then worked with The Palazetto Bru Zane in two Hervé’s operettas ( Les chevaliers de la table ronde, and Mamz’elle Nitouche). He went with those productions in many opera houses like: Bordeaux, Nantes/Angers, Limoges, Toulon, The Fenice…

He also sings the baroque repertory: purcell’s Dido and Aenas, Fairy Queen, or Stradella’s San Giovanni Baptista. His concert engagements include Schummann’s Diechterliebe, op.48, french’s melodies of Debussy, Poulenc or Fauré.

As an actor, he worked with Olivier Py, Jean Michel Ribes… and he's one of the NTP's founding member, a summer theatre festival where he played lot of classical pieces for 10 years now (Shakespeare, Molière, Corneille, Hugo, Feydeau, Kleist…).
